lyrics

Here comes the new preachers of apocalypse, they know everything better than us
and that’s always the same: don’t do this, don’t do that…
Since 30 years they’re crying and warning and rising fear.
Global warming? Come on, everybody likes the beach & sun!
I won’t change anything ‘cause it’s so useless: if we’re all doomed should I embrace the misery?
So just take a deep breath. Because humans will always win.
We have the power, the science, the technology: we’ll find a way.

And now we feel, and now we seat
On the edge of the abyss
We can’t stay blind
Forever, forever
And now we fear, and now we deal with
The burden that we created
We’ll find a way
By burying our heads in the sand

I just cannot understand how our modern societies are so committed to prepare their own destruction.
Now that we all know, we should stop acting so childish, so narrow minded, so fuckin stupid.
Apparently, we cannot see, we cannot hear, and we don’t want to tell the truth.
Our mother earth is suffering, and we the plague predating everything: the living species, the forests, the ocean, and in the end we’re condemned to eat ourselves.
We’re in a train running towards a big wall, and all you can say is “so far so good” … how dare you?

And now we feel, and now we seat
On the edge of the abyss
We can’t stay blind
Forever, forever
And now we fear, and now we deal with
The burden that we created
We’ll find a way
By burying our heads in the sand

about

One Last Shot France

One Last Shot are five Parisian Buddies who were raised up with 1990s Thrash Metal. They play Dust Metal: a rusty style, powered by the Southern Rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the balls of Motörhead and the love for Guns N’ Roses guitar solo style. It sounds fat, bold, dusty and it’s overflowing with rock n’ roll. Let’s be clear: it’s perfect for a BBQ contest or on a dirty stage at a bikers’ convention! ... more
